Week Two. 365. Double Exposure.

I got myself a photoshop subscription. I haven't had photoshop in almost a decade (my last version stopped working many incarnations of Windows ago). I had the Lightroom that came with a camera I bought a few years ago and I usually only do basic color/exposure correction so it was all I needed. Between Procreate on my ipad and phone apps I can do most of the more involved things I wanted to do, sometimes in weird convoluted ways, but I would get there in the end.

My new camera shoots a RAW file that the Lightroom I had couldn't handle, so I got the photoshop/lightroom bundle and decided I'd make it worth it by trying to play and experiment with Photoshop regularly. It's all coming back to me pretty quickly. This week I'm playing with double exposures and using photoshop every day.

March 6, 2022 - I had allergy brain pretty badly, just moving through a fog.

March 7, 2022 - I worked in the garden all morning. It was very windy.

March 8, 2022 - I taught myself some actual new techniques for this one. These types of double exposures were very trendy a few years back, except they're usually with beautiful landscapes, I thought it would be funny to do it with something mundane, like a broom.

March 9, 2022 - This is another one where I really played around with what I can do with photoshop. Including some of the original photos here so you can see what I was working with to make this. I removed the tripod and extended the rug and replaced my arms with the crocheted blanket.

March 10, 2022 - I had a lot of anxiety on this day. Just plugging along.

March 11, 2022 - Too hormonal today, my mom's painting is doing most of the heavy lifting here.

March 12, 2022 - Snow today!
