Flash photography is Not My Thing. Except when it's kind of weird. So I tried to be a little different every day!
May 1, 2022 - 64/365 - My ringflash burnt out the second I turned it on today, so I stuck my red ringflash gel on to my camera flash and did that instead!
May 2, 2022 - 65/365 - some good weird stuff I was really happy with. I started shooting in regular clothes and then remembered my costume closet is right there! Here are a few alternates from this day:
May 3, 2022 - 66/365 - I loved the dust caught by the flash!
May 4, 2022 - 67/365 - Just a straight on flash photo. Didn't inspire me much! But I really liked the weird and creepy outtakes I got when the flash HADN'T recycled yet, so here are some of those:
May 5, 2022 - 68/365 - You may recall I originally injured my neck flipping my head around to get hair photos, so for this I just grabbed and tossed my hair instead, much safer! I have a lot of alternates for this one too!
May 6, 2022 - 69/365 - I don't have flashes that sync, but I do have two cameras that use the same remote trigger, so I put a blue gel flash on one of them down to the side to cast a shadow, Because one of the cameras is older, it's a little slower, so I had to have a slower shutter speed on my main camera, which made it a little blurry, but I still really like how it turned out!
May 7, 2022 - 70/365 - You just do your thing while I bounce around the room!
